TERMS OF SERVICE — SLAW MEDIA GROUP

OVERVIEW Welcome to Slaw Media Group. The terms "we," "us," and "our" refer to Slaw Media Group LLC. We operate this store and website to provide you with photo and video media packages for bodybuilding and fitness competitions (the "Services"). This store is powered by Shopify.

These Terms of Service ("Terms") describe your rights and responsibilities when using our Services. Please read them carefully. By visiting or purchasing through our store, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use our Services.

SECTION 1 — ACCESS AND ELIGIBILITY By using our Services, you confirm that you are legally capable of entering into a binding agreement. There is no minimum age requirement to purchase, however any order placed on behalf of a competitor under the age of 18 must be completed by a parent or legal guardian.

At checkout, all customers must check a required box confirming they have read and agree to our Photo and Video Release terms. For customers purchasing on behalf of a minor, checking this box confirms that the purchasing parent or guardian consents to the capture, production, and delivery of photo and video media of the minor competitor. By completing checkout, you waive any claims against Slaw Media Group related to the capture or use of that media as described in these Terms.

You are responsible for providing accurate account, billing, and contact information. You may not transfer or assign your account to any other person.

SECTION 2 — OUR SERVICES Slaw Media Group provides pre-ordered photo and video media packages captured at live bodybuilding and fitness competitions. We make every effort to accurately represent our packages, but final media output is subject to stage conditions, lighting, athlete positioning, and other factors outside our control.

We do not warrant that media will meet subjective expectations of quality, appearance, or performance. Package availability, pricing, and show coverage are subject to change without notice.

SECTION 3 — ORDERS AND BOOKING All packages are pre-order only. By placing an order, you are making an offer to purchase. Slaw Media Group reserves the right to accept or decline any order at our discretion. Your order is not confirmed until payment is processed and you receive an order confirmation.

Online booking closes the day before athlete check-ins for each show. Walk-up booking may be available at select events during check-ins. Please review your order carefully before submitting — cancellations are not accommodated once an order is accepted.

SECTION 4 — PRICING AND BILLING All prices are listed in U.S. dollars and are subject to change without notice. The price charged will be the price in effect at the time your order is placed, as confirmed in your order confirmation email.

You represent and warrant that your payment information is accurate, current, and complete, and that you are authorized to use the payment method provided.

SECTION 5 — ALL SALES ARE FINAL All purchases are non-refundable and non-transferable. By completing checkout, you acknowledge that no refunds, exchanges, or credits will be issued under any circumstances, including but not limited to: change of mind, competitor withdrawal or disqualification, no-show on show day, dissatisfaction with on-stage performance, or duplicate orders placed in error.

If you did not receive your media, received incorrect files, or experienced a verified delivery failure on our end, contact us within 48 hours of your expected delivery date at adamjslawinski@gmail.com and we will resolve it.

SECTION 6 — PHOTO AND VIDEO RELEASE By purchasing a media package and completing checkout, you grant Slaw Media Group a perpetual, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, display, and distribute any photo or video media captured of you (or your minor dependent, if applicable) for promotional, marketing, and portfolio purposes across any platform or medium, unless you opt out in writing prior to your show date.

You waive any claims against Slaw Media Group arising from the capture, production, or use of this media as described above.

SECTION 7 — INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY All media, content, trademarks, and materials associated with Slaw Media Group are protected by U.S. copyright and intellectual property law. You may not reproduce, distribute, or commercially exploit any of our content without prior written consent. Purchased media is licensed for personal use only unless otherwise agreed in writing.

SECTION 8 — THIRD-PARTY LINKS AND TOOLS Our store may contain links to third-party websites or tools. We are not responsible for the content, accuracy, or practices of any third-party sites. Access to third-party tools is provided as-is, without warranties of any kind.

SECTION 9 — RELATIONSHIP WITH SHOPIFY Slaw Media Group's store is powered by Shopify. All transactions are made directly with Slaw Media Group. Shopify is not responsible for any aspect of your purchase, including any injury, damage, or loss resulting from products or services purchased through this store. You expressly release Shopify and its affiliates from all claims arising from your transactions with Slaw Media Group.

SECTION 10 — PRIVACY All personal information collected through our store is subject to our Privacy Policy [LINK]. By using our Services, you acknowledge that you have read and agree to our Privacy Policy.

SECTION 11 — PROHIBITED USES You may only use our Services for lawful purposes. You may not use our Services to violate any law, infringe on intellectual property rights, transmit harmful or misleading content, or attempt to scrape, exploit, or interfere with our store or its systems in any way.

SECTION 12 — DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTIES OUR SERVICES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT GUARANTEE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR TIMELY SERVICE.

SECTION 13 — LIMITATION OF LIABILITY TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SLAW MEDIA GROUP SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF OUR SERVICES OR ANY PRODUCTS PURCHASED THROUGH OUR STORE.

SECTION 14 — INDEMNIFICATION You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Slaw Media Group, its affiliates, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, or liabilities arising from your breach of these Terms, your violation of any law, or your use of our Services.

SECTION 15 — GOVERNING LAW These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey. You consent to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in New Jersey for any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of our Services.

SECTION 16 — CHANGES TO TERMS We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted to this page and take effect on the date specified. Your continued use of our Services after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

SECTION 18 — FORCE MAJEURE

Slaw Media Group shall not be held liable for any failure or delay in delivering purchased media packages resulting from circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to: show cancellation, venue closure, removal of media personnel from the event by promoters or venue staff, equipment failure, power outages, natural disasters, extreme weather, civil unrest, pandemic, government restriction, or any other event outside our control ("Force Majeure Event").

In the event of a Force Majeure Event that prevents us from delivering your media:

  • We will notify you as soon as reasonably possible
  • We will make reasonable efforts to deliver partial media if any was captured before the Force Majeure Event occurred
  • No refunds will be issued for shows cancelled by the promoter or event organizer — in those cases, disputes regarding show cancellation should be directed to the promoter
  • If Slaw Media Group is directly and solely responsible for a total failure to deliver any media whatsoever, we will issue a store credit equal to the value of your order

This section does not override our no-refund policy except in the specific circumstance described in the final bullet above.

SECTION 19 — ACCEPTABLE USE OF DELIVERED MEDIA

Upon delivery of your purchased media package, Slaw Media Group grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable personal use license to the photos and videos included in your package, subject to the following conditions:

You MAY:

  • Download and store your media for personal use
  • Share your media on personal social media accounts
  • Print photos for personal or household display
  • Send media to family, friends, coaches, or sponsors for non-commercial purposes

You MAY NOT:

  • Resell, license, or sublicense any media to any third party
  • Use media for commercial advertising or paid promotions without prior written consent from Slaw Media Group
  • Claim ownership or copyright over any delivered media
  • Remove, alter, or obscure any watermarks or branding on preview media
  • Use media in any way that defames, misrepresents, or harms Slaw Media Group

All intellectual property rights in the delivered media remain solely with Slaw Media Group. Purchase of a media package constitutes a license to use, not a transfer of ownership or copyright.
